I am an analytically-driven growth marketer who has a passion for enhancing customer retention metrics. I have a proven record of strategizing, testing and scaling tactics to improve customer acquisition, customer retention, and increase LTV. I am guided by data to point to areas of opportunity and employ my experience with media buying and CRM to implement strategies across channels. I believe that customer acquisition and retention are two sides of the same coin and should work together synergistically. In all of my roles, I have concentrated on building a large of funnel of qualified leads, making incremental improvements to conversion (on web or in an app), and achieving faster payback periods on paid media acquisitions by using my deep understanding of retention loops. I am best when working cross-functionally with the other growth functions like the product, analytics, merchandising, and creative teams. I am also a proud UC Berkeley graduate, Go Bears!
Kevin Gould is the founder and CEO of talent management firm and digital consulting agency Kombo Ventures, as well as the co-founder of three digitally native powerhouse brands: wigs and extensions brand Insert Name Here, magnetic lash brand Glamnetic, and Wakeheart, a body and home fragrance brand co-created with Gen Z YouTube sensations The Dolan Twins. In the last year, Kevin’s brands have skyrocketed from $4 million in combined revenue to $75 million. Kevin consults and advises early to mid-stage tech startups and brands on entertainment and media partnerships. He is also an active angel investor.
Lauren Kleinman is the co-founder of The Quality Edit, a media company curating and reviewing the best DTC brands, and the founder of Dreamday, a marketing and growth consultancy focusing on performance PR and affiliate marketing. Lauren was most recently part of the Founding Team and VP of Marketing & Growth at Ritual, where she led marketing and growth from the brand’s inception and helped build one of the most successful and influential brands in DTC Health. Prior to Ritual, Lauren was an early employee and Director of Communications & Special Projects at Scopely, where she helped build the PR, Recruiting and HR teams from inception.
